A collection consisting largely of business and land papers relating to Lockwood's law practice, his extensive land holdings and his financial management. Included are legal registers, 1815-1899; account books from Lockwood's law office; account books from a merchant business operated by Lockwood. Also included are several letters and other items relating to Lockwood and his family. The land papers include surveys, maps, account books and other items relating to the Hardenbergh Patent, and lands around Fallsbergh, N.Y.
